- This course provides all students who are majoring in one of the English/American studies Masters programmes with the communication skills necessary to make the most of their lectures and their reading. Topics covered include the following: analysis of information structure at clause, sentence and paragraph levels; academic reading and information processing skills, including debating, presentations etc.
