Inhalt:

Technologies and innovations are the basis of success and growth of any company. This module covers Theories, concepts and tools of technology and innovation management. Special topics are e.g. economic decisions in technology management or in disruptive technological change, success factors of innovations, the design of innovation processes, timing strategies, opening up innovation management and the innovation of entire business models. The topics will be linked to practical current key issues.

Lernziele und Kompetenzen:

In this module, students acquire comprehensive, detailed and specialized knowledge as well as current knowledge in the field of technology and innovation management.
After completing the module, students

• can understand and assess the significant role of technology and

innovation as a competitive advantage for industrial and service companies and give practical examples.

• are able to transfer the knowledge about the methods and concepts of technology and innovation management successfully to new, concrete

to transfer practical problems and to use it for problem solving.

• can assess and question facts in this area.
  

• can apply analytical and conceptual skills to deal with complex business administration
  

• can work on questions dealing with technology and innovation management independently and are able select the correct

methods and structuring approaches.
